ABOUT me

A woman with curly hair is standing indoors, turning back and smiling at the camera. She is wearing a shiny dark outfit and leopard print high-heeled shoes, with a green cushioned bench and a wall with paw print decorations in the background.

Yes, another artist

I have always wanted to be an artist - the kind who moved to sydney and wore cool, thrifted, clothes and carried a canvas satchel full of art SUPPLIES. I wanted to go to one of those art schools you see in indie films and hang out with weird, gorgeous, alternative art school friends. instead i ended up around the glitz and glam on the gold coast and became a makeup artist.

Ten years of weddings and fashion shoots later, i realised i had a nack for making content… back when ‘content’ wasn’t a career - and i finally moveD to sydney. It wasn’t the ‘art dream’ move I had picyired but the makeup and content career was blooming. i WASN'T there for long. i moved to bali and back to my home town dubbo, then back to the gold coast, then yamba, then back to the gold coast, then melbourne, now sunshine coast.

Fast forward through 100’s of relocations, a whirlwind of photography jobs, videography and marketing - digital fried my brain.

now i’m on the sunny coast, in my late 30’s, happily staying at home - some may say ‘settling down’ - SPENDING TIME IN NATURE WITH MY CAT LUNA, drinking iced tea, listening to good music and painting. i could never have been an artist prior, i was living off ADRENALINE and did not have the patience.

but now life is slow and its made space for the art dream i’ve always wanted just minus the canvas satchel.

my art reflects that shift - the slow, the calm, the healing and the new found love for life i have.

making art so when i’m famous you can sell my originals for a small fortune.
